Has anyone seen that clip of schools teaching children to sing "Jesus Loves the Children", except it's now "Barrack Obama Loves the Children"? Frrrreeeaaakkyyy.. We are living in some exciting times people! It got me thinking, and I've wanted to do this journal for awhile now, so without further ado..
I am a non-denominational Christian (Meaning, I don't follow any regulations from certain churches or man-made organizations, [I.E Catholicism, Mormonism]. I Just study under a pastor-teacher and the Bible.) I've been fortunate enough to be a believer since I was little, thanks to my parents, and I have studied the Bible for about 11 years now! I love to do research, and I love to answer questions pertaining to the Bible. So, I was thinking.. If anyone would like to discuss the Bible, or ask any questions? I'd love to help out! I am not going to be giving you my opinions, I am going to answer questions with scripture straight from the Bible! I will try my best to answer your question, and it may take me awhile to research it, depending on the question itself.
Now, if you are not a Christian or simply an unbeliever, that's fine! I am not looking for an argument or hateful comments, so I'll just be ignoring those. However, I am completely open to an intelligent, friendly discussion! I know this is a touchy subject, and it's hard not to offend, but I will try my best. If you are a non-Christian/unbeliever interested in a discussion, please ask yourself this first: Are you honestly seeking the truth? Or are you set in your ways, and only looking to disprove? An open mind is important in this type of discussion. -And if you are more comfortable talking in private, feel free to note me!
Well, I'm looking forward to some great conversations!

Very wise of you to point that out. I can't tell you how many times I've seen conversations go to the titanic because this kind of thoughtfulness wasn't used. I am non-denominational Christian as well, but am not nearly well-versed enough in the Bible.
Trying to find a decent bible lit class is near impossible these days.

I think I would love to ask you things about that sort of thing. >:
I'm not sure WHAT my religious status is-- but I know that I LOVE learning about all sorts of different beliefs. It's amazing to see someone actually offering information and things-- I think you've helped my image of Christians a tad. I have a friend who is constantly at Church groupings and stuff, and he usually becomes defensive when I ask him actual questions.
I mean, I'll joke with him about things. (In 8th grade Science he and I spoke passionately about dinosaurs and their origin...) But it's hard for me to actually talk to him about a few things...
